A loving call to pray and sacrifice for holy priests

In the Marian Year 1987, in an address to the clergy of the diocese of New Orleans in the Cathedral of Saint Louis, St. John Paul II prayed to Our Lady under the Title “Mother of Divine Love” for a renewal in the priesthood.

Three months later, on December 8th, Our Lady appeared to a faithful laywoman and mother in the bayou country south of New Orleans under the title “Mother of Divine Love, Patroness of Priests.” She requested prayer and small sacrifices for holy priests.

Under Our Lady’s gentle guidance, this humble mission of love gradually expanded to other members of the faithful, and on Ascension Thursday, 1992, the Brides of the Most Blessed Trinity were founded as a private association dedicated to prayer and sacrifice for holy priests.

Our Lady requested that the Last Saturday of every month be set aside as a day dedicated to praying for priests, and to gather together in prayer for this intention when possible.

She later requested that the faithful gather at Claire’s home on the Last Saturdays in prayer for priests beginning in 1999 for “Public Visitations.” She promised nine Visitations on the nine last months of 1999, in honor of the nine months Christ spend in Our Lady’s womb, and thirty-three Visitations beginning in January 2000, representing the thirty-three years of Jesus’ life on earth.

During these Public Visitations, Our Lady through Claire and other visionaries delivered Messages of Love, Hope, and Encouragement to priests and to all faithful, which can be found on this website.

The Brides of the Most Blessed Trinity has grown from a small seed of a few faithful to hundreds of members from all walks of life-including priests, religious, and faithful-in numerous countries throughout the world. Under Our Lady’s guidance, these Brides, male and female, have made a victim soul offering of their lives as a living sacrifice of prayer for holy priests.

In time Our Lady further requested a thirty-three foot cross on the grounds of the Public Visitations, and that the property be dedicated as a Shrine for Priests, where She Promises immense graces of healing and renewal for all the faithful, and especially for Her priest sons.

Below are two more detailed histories of the Brides of the Most Blessed Trinity and Public Visitations written by Claire Rose Champagne, as well as a letter which was delivered to the Holy Father, St. John Paul II, by Cardinal Arinze in October of 2003.

We encourage you to read further about the Brides of the Most Blessed Trinity and our spirituality on this website, as well as the Messages Our Lady delivered on the Last Saturday Visitations. Above all we encourage you to pray DAILY for HOLY PRIESTS, and to consider joining us as. There are no dues, no fees, no meetings–only prayer.

There are many vocations in the Church, but most require some qualifications or times spent away from home or work. This ministry is unique in that everyone can do this in their present vocation. We encourage you to become a small seed of love for priests as a professed Bride of the Most Blessed Trinity!
